Seriously? $19,000? If I were a taxpayer in Washington, I'd want to know what the hell they did to get to that $19,000 cost. Did they build new columns entirely?

I realize it's a tad different but when some neighborhood kids tagged the back of our shed with graffiti, I just went to Lowe's and bought some paint and painted over it. Might have cost me $19.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread, but that figure struck me as excessive.

I would argue it's a marketing stunt to build the bad boy rep. Might not get you an endorsement deal with Cadillac, but not many corporations are going to hire mixed martial arts people as spokesman anyway.
