Ouch: D-Backs' Snyder busts a nut

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by BigSleeper, Jul 1, 2008.

  1. If this happened to me, I think I'd be begging someone to hit me in the face with a frying pan and knock me out for the duration of the recovery.

John Kruk will have in-depth analysis on Baseball Tonight.

  3. Ugh. I'd rather have the vasectomy.

  4. That...wow. I'm scared.

Fortunately, he's right-handed. Imagine if he had hurt his throwing nut?

Also, as a catcher, does the constant squatting lead to a longer recovery time?

In all seriousness, I thought all catchers wore cups to prevent this sort of thing. As nasty as it is, I'd love to hear some details on how exactly that ball caught his ... ummm... ball.

I wonder if the Diamondbacks will use AC/DC's "Big Balls" as his music for each at-bat.

  8. Probably got squeezed between the cup and the ball ... the baseball.

What future kids? By the way, I just started screaming the word "fuck" in terror just now. Holy shit. Is there any injury someone could think of that would be more painful?

My guess is that's what happened. Probably swelled up like a grapefruit.

Which makes me cross my legs and groan just thinking about it.

    I consider this a tragedy.

Because it didn't happen to the Redskins' Snyder instead.
