Other than Michael Jordan, who is the best NBA player since 1990?

Alonzo Mourning was quite the force in his prime. He wouldn't be a No. 1, but I'd easily put him in the top 10 NBA players over the last 20 years.

Yeah, I love "Fields of Fire (400 Miles)," the long album version.

Not in the top 20, but other players I used to love to watch in the 1990s: Glen Rice, Mitch Richmond, Allan Houston. There's just something about a pure jumpshot.

Since 1990? Shaq, and it isn't all that close.

In the same vain of players I used to love to watch, gotta bring up Vince Carter, although with the way he left Toronto -- admitting to dogging it and quitting on the team -- I have no respect for the guy. Still always fun to watch when he was on his game. Still a good but not great player. Could never quite put it all together for an entire season. But when he was at his best he flat out carried those Raptors teams.

Shaq over Duncan because his teams dominated the Spurs and he won more titles.

Then Kobe. Kobe has more rings but I believe the first 3 were more because of Shaq's dominance than Kobe.

    Olajawon.

As for the pure jump shooters, I loved watching Dale Ellis shoot. Ray Allen cutting off the down pick is pretty sweet as well. Oh yeah, and my man Mullin.

Shaq and Duncan have the same number of rings — four.

My mistake. Still think its Shaq.

One of his MVPs belongs to Kobe, though.

I would say Dwight Howard will be on Mizzou's Top 20 list before long if he is not there already.

    Since 1990, not counting Jordan.

    1. Shaquille O'Neal
    2. Tim Duncan
    3. Kobe Bryant (gag me)
    4. Hakeem Olajuwon
    5. Steve Nash (OK, so a little biased)
