    I thought about seeding by region: i.e. Clinton, Carter, Jackson, etc. in the South, etc.

    The West would catch a lot of at-larges, though, since only Nixon and Reagan were true Westerners (and Reagan was born in Illinois). In fact, Hoover may have been the first president born west of the Mississippi.

    Liberals will of course, tout Kennedy.

    Even though Kennedy was, depending on your vantage point: so conservative he couldn't be Teddy's brother; or b) got us whipped by Cuba and Andyou's political hero, Fidel.
