    Totally concur on Talented Mr. Ripley. Enjoyed Cold Mountain too. Minghella's movies have always been great to look at and I think truly capture a novel's scope. Funny story about The English Patient. My mom wanted to see it and asked me and my dad to come along, halfway through the movie my mom is getting her snore on, before waking up at the end. We're walking out of the theater and my mom starts saying how much she enjoyed the movie then asks. "So Who Was The English Patient?"
