You know why Rowling is quitting writing the books, don't you??

there was a woman making a big stink about the Potter books in nearby Cherokee County as well, but I think she gave up some time last year.

    According to her, they do.

So by even calling her out and questioning the validity of her claim, which incidentally costs taxpayers money since it ties up the court system, we're playing her game?

I'm for responsible citizenry, which means I have an obligation to do the right thing, and part of that includes trying to get others to do the same. If ridiculing this woman is what it takes to bring to light wasteful cases like this, then that's exactly what I'll do. And by ridiculing, I also mean spreading the story to others I know so maybe they'll think twice themselves.

Exactly and the taxpayer's dollars she's wasting is money that is being taken away from the very school system she's trying to protect. Money that could go towards educational uses. but instead it's going towards months and months of her being upset that Harry Potter books are in the library.

And I guarantee if she were to really go through the school library, she would find that there's more than Harry Potter that's bringing in books with topics opposed by Christianity. For that matter, what about other students? I wrote a 40 page story that had vampires and evil spirits in it when I was in the 7th grade. (It was only supposed to be a short story but I've always been that much of a geek when it came to writing...I just couldn't stop)

Anyway, my teacher loved it so much she shared it with the whole class. OMG I bet I tainted them for life!
