First one came up Kucinich, Richardson, Edwards, Biden, Obama, Clinton

Second one was Obama, Edwards, Biden, Clinton, Kucinich, Dodd.

Wasn't Biden involved in the Clarence Thomas Supreme Court nomination hearings?

Why are you disturbed? You apparently agree with her on many things.

A friend of mine did this poll last election and was matched up with Kucinich. He went nuts. Another friend asked him why wouldn't he vote for Kucinich since apparently they shared the same views on many things.

Apparently Giuliani, Obama, Edwards, and Hillary share many of the same views because they all popped up in my top four as well.

  4. So was mine.

I would question the validity of this quiz then....
    Bell curve anyone?

    John McCain 28
    Ron Paul 27
    Fred Thompson 23
    Sam Brownback 23
    Duncan Hunter 23
    Jim Gilmore 22
    Rudy Giuliani 19

Out of that group, only two I'd consider voting for are Ron Paul (as unserious a candidate as he is) and Giuliani. The poll is flawed, though, I think. I am guessing it assumes things from your responses that may not be true. For example, when it says, "Social Security: Do you favor the concept of privatization of Social Security to any degree?" I said no, but not because I want social security as it exists. I'd do away with any government-mandated program that tells people what to do with their money or how to save--whether it is the government running it or the government mandating some kind of investment with private entitites. Same thing with the stem cell research question... I am not opposed to stem cell research, I just don't think government should be funding the research. I also think government loonies shouldn't be stopping others from doing it, as the Christian fundamentalists would. So I think the poll didn't really match me up right. I'd vote for a Fred Thompson or Sam Brownback over my dead body.

    Kucinich 48

    Dodd 43

    Edwards 42

Obama and Hillary 38 (we disagree on Iraq, death penalty and Immigration)

    Rudy 28 was highest republican

McCain, hunter and huckabee were all 5s.

The wierdest thing is, 7 years ago I would have voted for McCain, and I doubt he's changed much. But now, with his kissups to GWB in 2004, not a chance.

Okay I just did this quiz and I know for a fact it's rigged:

    Romney: 35
    McCain: 30
    Richardson: 30
    Gravel: 25
    Gilmore: 25
    Guliani: 25
    Hunter: 25

    Obama: 25
    Biden: 25
    Clinton: 25
    Paul: 25
    Edwards: 20
    Huckabee: 20
    Thompson: 20
    Tancredo: 20
    Dodd: 20
    Kuckinch: 20
    Brownback: 20

Thank god that I am Canadian.
    This quiz has errors. ;D

Second quiz: Hillary and Dodd 68, Edwards 65.

Rudy again (tied with Paul) best republican with 30. McCain did better with a 25.

Brownback and Huckabee got 8's, Tancredo and Hunter 0.

By the way, I'm leaning toward Edwards.

Dodd came out on top in both polls for me. I think Hillary came out second in one and third in another.

the first one didn't seem as good. I know I don't agree with Mike Huckabee on Iraq.

Yes. He might have been chairman of the committee reviewing the Judge Sexual Harassment

    Obama 37
    Clinton 37
    Giuliani 36
    Richardson 35
    Kucinich 35
    Edwards 35
    Dodd 30
    Biden 30

But as someone said, not a very nuanced quiz. The Iraq answers in particular.
