    FloSport's DirtonDirt.com is seeking a dynamic full-time Motorsports Journalist with an enthusiasm for dirt racing and creative ideas for innovative online news coverage. The successful candidate will thrive amid deadline-driven and enterprise-worthy coverage that will provide fresh content for Dirt Late Model's most vibrant website. This person will write stories, edit written content and photos, and manage news presentations and eventually grow into a managing editor, who will assign coverage and oversee all website editorial content. We are open to remote candidates for this role and are targeting a mid-February start date.

    Reporting, writing and editing copy for race coverage and feature stories.
    Generating story and project ideas tailored to a variety of media styles.
    Editing articles from staff members and contributing sources.
    Work towards a management role, overseeing three remote writers/reporters
    Coordinating with free-lance and contributing photographers.

    At least three years of journalism experience, preferably in auto racing.
    Excellent communication skills with co-workers and sources.
    Familiarity with website content management systems.
    Finely-tuned news judgment.
    Ability to work under deadline pressure.
    Self-motivation and self-direction with the ability to work remotely while coordinating with remote employees.
    Creativity and fresh perspectives for developing coverage in all forms.
    Adjustable to flexible workshifts.
    Ability to use follow consistent AP and corporate style guidelines.
