One-Sentence Grafs Make Me Dizzy

    A bit overdone, to be sure.

    But I'd rather see the writer err on that side than write a 17-line paragraph.

    Yeah. The organizations that have presented him with those national writing awards over the years apparently feel the same way.

  4. It could be worse, as I can testify to that.
    I was editing a column (nobody national, thank goodness) in which the person wrote a one-sentence paragraph that had -- I kid you not -- 101 words.
    I felt like Marcell Ledbetter with the lightweight chainsaw that night.
