I thought this thread was going to be about "Benson": http://tv.yahoo.com/picks/20060603/

HDNet is showing another outstanding, underrated series -- "Philly."

Meldrick was always my favorite character.

    That would be cool.

I guess I should watch the rest of the Billy video before it gets swapped out.

Yes! Long live the Homicide drinking game!!!

This was without a doubt one of the best network shows EVER made. That's all I'm saying about that.

    That's cause he's played by a Canadian. :D

Homicide was fantastic -- until the nitwit writers decided to give Andre Braugher a stroke. The show's jump-the-shark moment. They absolutely ruined one of TV's great characters.

I was profoundly disappointed in the Homicide series finale, though.

I thought it was waaaay underwritten. All of the detectives teamed up, mostly chasing red herrings.

    It coulda been much better.

Still, great ending -- and great show.

  10. The Braugher-D-Onofrio subway episode was one of the best hours of TV I ever saw.
I also loved the L&O/Homicide crossovers? Lennie and Munch's ex-wife? Classic.

Lots of great Baltimore moments, as you would expect ... and I loved the cameo by Tim Russert, bickering with his cousin.

I thought we were talking about "Hunter."
