What about some 1980s One-Hit Wonders:

    Rappers Delight - Sugarhill Gang
    Whip It -- Devo
    99 Luftballooons -- Nena
You're a Friend of Mine - Clarence Clemons
Keep Your Hands to Yourself -- Georgia Satellites
Escape (Pina Colada Song) - Rupert Holmes
    Mickey - Toni Basil
    Desert Moon - Dennis DeYoung

The Satellites never had a hit as big as "Keep Your Hands To Yourself" ("Hippy Hippy Shake" from the Cocktail movie was probably as close as they got) but made three great albums of southern rock and boogie. Fantastic live band too.

    DeYoung was a nice showman.

Dan Baird's solo stuff is awesome, as well.

Amazing to think she pulled this off as a 37-year-old. From a technical standpoint, that video is brilliant. Great editing. Great choreography.

Indeed. Until I saw it the other day I hadn't realized she was in Easy Rider -- the scene in which they drop acid and fuck in a famous New Orleans cemetery.

I remember buying that CD because of the one song and realize the rest of it was absolutely horrible.

Rupert Holmes also did "Him," which reached the Top 10.

Even the one song was awful.
