    Look how big these fuckers can get in the wild. I shudder at the thought of these getting an unlimited food supply of garbage dumpsters, backyard dogs, etc.

    Outdoors magazine did a piece on mountain lions a couple years ago --- essentially, they're not endangered anymore and they're expanding their range dramatically. The way we humans protect deer to set up for deer-hunting season has done a lot to help the mountain lion.
