    Play golf. Grill. Go to a MLB game on Saturday. Write a freelance hoops story for a preview mag.

    I slept in, went in to work, ate wayyyyy too much (because isn't that the point of holidays like the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving? To eat two desserts? Because I definitely did.), watched fireworks, went to the bars and now I'm watching Monty Python's Flying Circus on BBC because I got sick of the 24-hours-of-Independence-Day marathon on the Fox Movie Channel.

    Tomorrow, I get to cover Little League. Can't contain my excitement over that one.

    Man, that sucks hard. Happened to me once, which is why I always keep a second tank full and at the ready now.

    Work four straight 12-hour overnights. Other than that, not too much.

    But then ... vacation. 8)

    They sell inexpensive (not "cheap" — the damn things are made of brass) gauges you can put on your propane tank at Lowe's, Home Depot, Menard's and so on.
