Besides, it's just too hot to clean.

Take Mama Allen to see the SATC movie.

Uhm, as much as I love Mama Allen, I don't think that's going to happen. I'd be more likely to go scrapbook supply shopping with her.

  5. Some people pathologically have to always be DOING SOMETHING.

Not saying AlleyAllen is one of them.

    Saying that I am.

Do it. Launch a full-scale, massive cleaning and reorganizing. When I had three days off in a row in a scheduling quirk a few weeks back, I spent one of them doing a wall-to-wall cleaning of our house. I threw shit out, reorganized closets, washed baseboards, the whole bit. And I tell you, it was almost orgasmic. Almost. I damned near pulled strangers off the street to walk through the Sparkle Palace after I was done.

Wow, do you not know me.

I just need to get it to where I can actually set foot in my walk-in closet. Right now, the floor is completely covered up to about my knees. Also, you can't see the carpet in my room and I've got clothes strewn all around my bathroom.

This is not a "cleaning" so much as a scavenger hunt.

    Well, no, I don't. :)

I wish you luck in whatever you decide to do.

But not NEARLY as therapeutic as posting on SportsJournalists.com!

And count me as another person who votes against stressing out about not getting everything done on your week off. You're getting some AA time. To quote one of my best friends, "Umm ... RELAX!"
