The U.S. plays New Zealand at 5 a.m. on MSNBC and 10 a.m. on NBC in women's basketball. The AP TV watch has both games listed as live.

Anyone know which is the correct live airing that day?

    Looks like the latter.

I covered a player on the NZ basketball team at here juco here in the U.S. Got to be good friends with her and even managed to get some comments in an e-mail when she made the team.

Then it turns out that the U.S.-NZ basketball game is Sunday Beijing time. The player I covered is a devout Mormon and can't play. One of her teammates is, too, so the Kiwis will be facing the U.S. two players short.

That never stopped Steve Young — a direct descendent of Brigham, no less.

The 5 a.m. is on tape, and the 10 a.m. is live.
