Quit being so drip-like. There's countless stories every year that wouldn't be stories but for a participant's fame. Do you think anyone pays attention to a random dog fighting arrest that doesn't involve Michael Vick?

A well to do suburban Wisconsin mom with husband/kids leading a secret double life as a Vegas call girl is a salacious little tale on its own. But throw in the fact that she was once the world's best female miler and a famous three time Olympian and it becomes a far bigger salacious story. So what?

I realize I have made highly irrational choices and I take full responsibility for them. Stoney, of course I see why it would be of interest to some. But seriously, take out the Olympian peg, and is it really a big story?

 

Depression is mentioned in the piece, but her tweet also sounds a lot like someone with bipolar as far as the path she took. Acting out sexually, with apparently no regard for what might eventually happen in their life, happens quite often.
