    Baseball success and Mississippi State are much more synonymous than that preppie school in Oxford.

    I'd still stick with Shepard Smith as the icon of Ole Miss greatness.

    I'd go with Faulkner and John Grisham before I went with Shepard Smith. But that's just me.

    I guess I should know who Shepard Smith is, but I don't. And Grisham went to Mississippi State undergrad and Ole Miss law school, so I guess both have their claims. I'll take Larry Brown, Willie Morris or Barry Hannah over Grisham any day.
