    FYI: The AJC's Furman Bisher turns 90 on Nov. 4.

    You're supposed to beat him down until he walks away. You did it to Barnhart, can't you take down an 89-year-old man! These are tough times dammit! Do you expect the AJC to continue to pay him a top salary just because he can tell you the score of the 1936 Florida-Georgia game?

    Uh, Ronnie (or anyone else), correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Bisher DID take a buyout, then signed back on to do some columns on a contract basis.

    Unless that contract is really bad, I think that means he's still getting paid to write about sports.
