This is a shining example of the state of the world we inhabit. Lawyers don't have to chase ambulances any longer. They're bombarding you with ads during Jerry Springer and Tyra Banks. Somebody injured you? There's money to be made. Nobody else was responsible for your injury? Let's go after the company making whatever injured you. I'm surprised that parents are suing gravity because their kid skinned its knee learning to ride a bike.

Just deport the guy to Canada. That'll teach him.

I don't know what's sadder ... a 60-year-old bastard who sues a kid in a minor ski accident (emphasize the word "accident") or the fucking lawyer who's rubbing his hands gleefully thinking, "Heh, heh, heh, slam dunk! We'll get that little punk."

I would countersue the old fuckface.

I'll bet any takers up to $50 this case will never see a jury.

If I were the kids parents, I'd send my 12-year-old to go rough up the old coot and make him drop the suit.

Not even that. The lawyer knows he'll bill for hours, whether he wins or loses.
