    interesting, and given what is known about what Patton wanted to do, seems plausible.

    There's certainly evidence that there were a lot of people who didn't want him around anymore, but I'm not sure I'd want to make that allegation with basically one source.

    Thank God for the British press, for multiple reasons . . . including the most balanced American political coverage you can find.

    Then shoot him through the neck.
    Then, poison him in the hospital.
    There wasn't an easier way to off him in Germany right after the war than this?

    People in Detroit are mad at Rod Marinelli, but I didn't think it had gotten quite that bad. :eek: :eek:
