Wait a minute a politician has "ties" to a guy who has "ties" to lobbyists?

    Unheard of STOP THE PRESSES!!!!

My god -- what an absolute non-story.

We simply strive to keep track of which elected officials are whoring for which sectors/corporations, so we can calibrate all the spin, fairly.

A few months ago, I asked on an Olbermann thread for examples of his alleged uber-liberalism, other than the Bush administration contempt that he shares with three-fourths of the nation.

I'm still waiting for an answer.

I'd say pompous ass is a much better way to label Olbermann than ultra-liberal.

And anyone catch his ridiculous over-the-top rant about Clinton's "assassination" remarks? The man needs to be medicated -- and sooner rather than later.

You're right. I have no idea what his domestic political views are. He could be a moderate for all we know. He just can't stand Bush.

The guy has a good eye for IDing the cream of the current crop of assholes.
Can't fault him for that. It's part of his schtick, and he relishes it.

  9. No evidence you can reveal will change some of the liberal chorus' minds.

So it's not even worth trying.

I hate to say it, but it's a necessary evil for both parties. I'll bet there isn't a single person in the senate who doesn't have questionable ties to some lobbyist. Obama's only been there three years so he might not have as many as some... :D

It's not ideal. But it's reality.

Soon I am sure we'll get one of these standard rationalizations....

    "The sources were biased..."

or the grandaddy of them all....

"But, but, but THAT IS DIFFERENT...."
