I cannot be the only one wondering: Who in the hell is Cathy Rush?

This sets a precedent for Screamin' A Smith to one day be enshrined ...

I hope Olajuwon spends the entire speech taunting Riles and Ewing.

"And I'd like to thank John Starks, for going 2-for-19 after I grazed his Finals-winning shot with my fingertip in Game Six. And Riles, thank you. If you'd pulled him, like any sane coach would have, well, I might not have any rings and Patrick would have one.

"And Patrick, I still can't believe John Thompson got out of his own way long enough for you guys to beat us in 1984."

  4. Gee, I didn't realize Halls of Fame were for great guys who pitch their friends for coaching jobs, have conflicts of interest out their ears, and traded three draft picks for Earl Tatum.
    My bad.

It's not Pro Basketball Hall of Fame... so he deserves to be in.

  6. Crap.
    He's a televsion pitchman.
And, get set, people, for a schmooze fest like you won't believe for the next year on the WWL.

This unfortunately is the truest thing anyone will post all year.

I bet you there's a Vitale roast on ESPN Classic in which everyone does their Dickie V impressions. And in which Bobby Knight shows up in a sweater that saw its best days in 1832.

Well, you live and learn, I guess.

I put the over/under on DickieV blowing out his larnyx at the 11:03 mark of his speech.

Oh, the former Immaculata coach Cathy Rush. That one. My sincerest apologies. I thought for sure she was already enshrined.

You'd have known her, poin, had she molested a player.
