Twitter post today from Pat Forde: "Sending best wishes to Oklahoman columnist John Rohde, who took ill at the Ok State-Colorado game last night and has been hospitalized."

    Anyone know anything?

He got dizzy after the game last night and was taken to the ER. Scary thing to see when you turn around in the press box.

I don't have an update on his condition, but I do know this. When a coworker asked him for his car keys, John gave them to him. Then he said from the gurney: Send my column.

What a gamer. Get well soon, John.

    Someone keep us posted.

After the Steve Ellis thread, I didn't even want to click on this.

What a great story about him saying, 'Send my column.'
Hopefully it was just a dizzy spell and he'll be fine. This lifestyle ain't so easy, ya know?
I never met the man but will pray for him. Great story.

That is spelled R-O-H-D-E, by the way, and Gundy wouldn't have had the nuts to say he was a man, he's 40 in response to a column of his.
