Four new posters debut to ring in on Gina's work. Never noticed if that's been a trend before.

Don't know her, but sounds like a good match for the job.

So she's the female version of Tim Tebow?

I know I'm a better person just for having read about her.

A female journalist covering Oklahoma State football? Uh-oh. ;)

  6. As many times as I've seen that video, I never knew the reporter was female, which in my eyes discredits the idea that this was a sexist rant.

I think it's more like four regular posters who decided to use their real names to support a former colleague.

I've seen her stuff. She's good.

YOU WANT TO RANT AT A JOURNALIST? RANT AT ME! I'M FORTY-THREE!

Aw, who am I kidding... that Gundy rant is classic. I can't even approach 1/100 of it.

Off the current path of the thread, but I have a question:

Anybody notice how ESPN is using the writers hired away from the Oklahoman? Are they reporting daily stuff? I confess I haven't done more than a cursory glance at either the general ESPN site or the DFW site, but I don't see much difference between the coverage of those teams right now or any other team. The bylines for OU tend to be AP, their Big 12 blogger or national guys.

    Am I missing something?

  11. That's a good question and I am also curious.

I don't think they've started yet, but I'm not sure when they're going to start or what they're doing now if they haven't started.

While me and Travis haven't gotten along over the years for reasons that were totally my fault, this is a great hire and I congratulate him.
