That kid, being from economically torn Michigan AND being programmed into a Detroit fan, needs to have a sponsor from "Save the Children" for support in the coming years. He's got a hell of a battle ahead.

I'm going to get a 40-120 tattoo on my but. Never forget.

I consider myself a DetroitSportsJournalists.com member but I don't have any tattoos. That's seriously wrong and a really bad tat to boot. I love the way they said, "outside Detroit, Fox 2 news." I'm betting he's from waaay outside Detroit in Redneckville.

As you know, some environs of "Redneckville" aren't very far from Detroit.

I called it Taylortucky to an out of towner once, she was visiting from Tennessee and actually thought it was in Kentucky.

Yes. Kentucky is both north and south of ohio.

Tis true. When I first moved here, I was dating someone who lived in Hazeltucky and found myself in a bar there one night. Scary.

The city of Hazel Park once adopted an "official country ballad" for the city which began, "consider yourself lucky to live in Hazeltucky."

I'm sure it goes on about rusty pickups, beloved pets, cheap malt liquor, love gone wrong, and smoking secondhand butts off the sidewalk, but you can probably figure out the rest.

Hey, watch it! I lived in HP for five years! :)
(And am so glad I got the hell out of the area.)
