OK, please tell me what we did in college was cooler than this ...

Never doubt the ability of the Today Show to make anything with even a miniscule amount of cool attacked to it seem just incredibly lame.

 

Yeah, even the fourth hour hosts make drinking in the morning seem lame.

 

I'll tell you what I did in college that was cooler than that: I interviewed Henry Rollins and ended up having to buy him dinner at Denny's because one of the Black Flag roadies stole his wallet.
