OK, NASCAR, enough

    Give the guys a friggin' mic stand, would you please? Why is this the only sport where the participants (I won't call them athletes) HOLD the mic instead of just speaking into one? I don't get it.








    And, yes, these are the things that bother me when I'm drunk watching Sportscenter at 2:45 a.m.

    I don't know what you were watching. Most post-races have the little table-top holders where they just lean in and talk. Now, the pre-race media availabilities, they'll sometimes throw them into folding chairs with a microphone.

    Actually kind of surprised Lowe's had them holding mics, unless it was a big group thing (like eight of them at a time) and they only had the three mics.
