    When Phil Wrigley took over the Cubs after William passed, the heart failed.
    It has yet to recover.

    Casey Stengel, today, could manage better than Dusty. Girardi will have his chance,
    beginning in less than a week.

    Eh, at this rate might as well make Don Henley the GM. He knows about the Boys of Summer. And telling people not to show up is like telling a heroin addict "Stop poking those needles in your arm." The right move, of course, but easier said than done.

    I check Cubs beat sites several times daily looking for "Baker done," and every time I don't see it, I die a little more.
