Ok. Be Honest. Do you rock out or sing loudly when you're driving alone?

On the city streets, I'll just have the music turned up loud, but no singing.

Now, long drives, where sometimes it's a struggle to stay awake?

Wait until the wife falls asleep in the passenger seat (earplugs keeping her from having to hear my foolishness), crank up one of my bootleg live shows, usually a Metallica or Rush . . .and rock the hell out.

That's gotta be some pretty moldy cake, dude.

Aaanyway. I usually play any music pretty loud, but two songs I can't resist rocking out to are Self Esteem by The Offspring and Geek USA by Smashing Pumpkins. Both make me want to hop out of the car and break shit.

Two types of songs really work for this:

1.Ones you really love (duh!), and

    2. Ones that are impossibly over the top, eg, Meat Loaf.

I pretty much sing in the car anywhere I go. I usually get raised eyebrows at my extremely eclectic music collection, which ranges from rock to country to classical to showtunes. Almost nothing is off-limits on my iPod, except for screamer music.

Awesome call. "I'm not a man, or machine...I'm just something in between WHOAAAAAAAA WHOAAAAAAAAAA!"

That's one of the songs that I'll rewind three times if I hear it on XM.
