Live on msnbc, and the judge is taking no shit.

Seems like just yesterday the entire nation stopped breathing for an hour so we could all watch the Nicole/Goldman verdict.

This is how this should go:

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

    Seven years.

Seven years is probably pretty close to what he will get.

Sometimes when a judge gives a big, long lecture, they give a shorter sentence than you might expect and shorter than the maximum.

I once watched a plea bargain in court - it was an amazing thing. The judge will say... "you acknoledge breaking and entering" and all these different counts... you can get about 8 for one instance of breaking and entering... the judge says strictly to the defendant that "you acknowldge that you freely plead guilty without and promise of a reduced sentence and recognize I as judge am not bound by any agreement."

Then after the whole dance, they give the person the lesser charge and lesser sentence.. They probably have to go through all that, but it is absurd to actually watch.

OJ's really really sorry, but here's all the reasons why he doesn't think he did anything wrong.

His rambling about being setup for a porn video was weird...

Man, this does bring back memories. I was in my college paper newsroom when the murder verdict was announced.

I hate when they cut in with commentary. Just show the hearing and let me watch.
