I'm sure Fred Goldman is happier this way.

If he's going to prison for life I think they'll be OK with it.

    Thirteen years too late, IMO.

He's looking at a minimum of 25 years. He's 61 now. He sure looked defeated when they read the verdicts. I won't miss reading about him. The Goldmans too. I appreciate their loss, but their publishing of If I Did It, was pretty sleazy.

I dunno. If he's sent away for an exceedingly long time, whatever assets he does have could be seized and sold. Or maybe not. I'm not sure exactly how that works.

I want David Maraniss to write the definitive O.J. biography.

Somebody's going to write a monster book one day. Who's going to do it?

Karma's a bitch. But he should be glad he had 13 years of freedom he didn't deserve. I do love the irony that it happened on the same day.

  12. I only know the basics about this case, but I have to think the jury was influenced by outside forces. Usually I'd have a problem with that. Not now.

O.J. was in tears. I was enraged by the way he looked at the jury once his first guilty verdict was read---as if to say, "how dare you convict me!". He's always acted like a smug SOB who has always played the victim, which makes it much easier for me to root for this scumbag to die in jail.
