Buckeye Sports Bulletin in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a full-time writer to cover Ohio State football and basketball.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to both report and write on tight deadlines while coming up with unique story ideas. The ability to develop sources, break news and write clear, coherent copy is a must. The position is intended for a self starter who can juggle multiple stories on a weekly basis and is able to engage audiences. Experience with social media, podcasting, video and photography is helpful.

Experience covering college sports and a knowledge of college football and basketball is recommended, and the position requires office work as well as weekends and evenings at times.

A member of the Collegiate Sports Publishers Association, Buckeye Sports Bulletin publishes 60 issues annually (24 print, 36 online) about Ohio State athletics as well as providing content to BuckeyeSports.com. Candidate will also contribute to Reds Report, a monthly newspaper covering the Cincinnati Reds.
