Ohio St. (and Rep Jim Jordan) has a molester Dr. problem

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Neutral Corner, Jul 3, 2018.

  1. Why is this coming out now?
Was it a non-issue or unknown when this guy elected and re-elected?

One of the more outspoken former wrestlers said that seeing what happened around the "Me Too" movement gave him the courage to talk about it.

It is certainly possible that Jordan's dickishness offered incentive to come forward and that it is political in that way.

Also, Jordan was an assistant coach, not that it excuses him.

Has a single Republican in the House or Senate called on Jordan to resign?

    Even one?

    1) Holiday recess.
    2) The "rush to judgment" rhetoric would be swift and perhaps justified.
    I don't see a problem in waiting.

The wrestler who came forward said the Nassar case informed him better on the matter.

I don't think this is political. I think it's personal and he tried to enlist Jordan's help in a possible suit.

The main wrestler in question has a long history of suing and being sued.

    There are layers to it.

Yet I believe the doctor did what the wrestlers said he did. I believe that.

I don't know the extent of Jordan's involvement in any cover-up, but I know this: If you are caught up in a controversy, there is no better name for your attack-dog spokesman than Ian Fury.

    LOL. Yeah, that's it.

So, have any elected Repubs called for his resignation?

What I'm looking for is consistency. Is there any?

You've obviously never been to Columbus.
