Ohio HS FB coaches suggest honoring Tressel

If a HS coach wanted to truly honor Tressel, all he has to do is find a highly talented but ineligible running back, magically make him eligible, ride him to a state title and then promptly drop him like a hot potato after the season is over. Aside from wearing a sweater vest, wouldn't that be the best way to honor Tressel?

Nobody said he was an angel. Go back and read my initial post, which wasn't even ABOUT Tressel. It was about some people here and elsewhere who think everything is black and white and that they are the arbiters of how everyone else should feel about the guy and his career.

    I say that's BS.

The tribute is not to rule-breaking just because that is your perception of it.

All good football programs love cheaters. They emulate them.

This sounds like the kickoff of Tressel's Senate campaign. After all, high school football coaches ARE leaders and opinion shapers.

Well, if you don't agree with the high school coaches, here's some backing.
