I wanted to take a moment to reiterate how much this board and you all mean to me.

It represents the best non-sexual free entertainment I will ever know. You are beautiful people.

May we all find peace and love in 2007.

    Thanks.

    Who stole your log-on?

Seriously, back at you and everyone else.
Except the assholes I addressed yesterday. I hope your holiday season blows.
Everyone else? Have a grand ol' time.

    Non-sexual free entertainment?

That sounds like Columbo is saying he is able to get sexual entertainment for free....

Ah, I shouldn't go there during the holidays, should I?

Merry Christmas Columbo. Happy Holidays SportsJournalists.com.

I'll chime in with my SportsJournalists.com love letter: I had a pretty tough first half of 2006, and this place became something of a refuge. I've got some very good friends here that I am very grateful to have met, who have pulled me through some rough spots.

As for the second half of my year, it's often hard to be at a small shop because you've got people who don't really care about journalism, management just needed a live body to fill a desk. I'm glad I can come here and talk shop with like-minded people and those who make me see things from different perspectives. I'm better at my job for it.

So I wish a peaceful and happy New Year to all, and hope to see many of you in Vegas in 2007.

Of all the people I expected to write sentimental odes to the board, Columbo was near the bottom of the list.

Merry Christmas too, you football-loving, Frank Gore-humping socialistic turd. May you buy your family members a bunch of good gifts without going over the cap!!!! :D :D :D

You know, having re-read Columbo's message, anybody else think he's been hitting the eggnog early?

That was my feeling as well

  9. You won't be so glib on Xmas Eve when he has to go to the building he designed and it collapses on him.

Happy holidays to a place that I occasionally visit for an interesting time.

Occasionally? There's a cot and coffeemaker here in your name. :D

(and Happy Holidays to all ... this place is usually pretty good, save for the episodes described by Moddy)
