So ESPN is getting rid of the least objectionable members of its Monday night team . . . good move.

Story says it's not known if they will hire new sideline reporters or get rid of them altogether.

If it was asked of me, I'd say get rid of them altogether.
None of them ever, hardly ever, has any real good info to share.
    Just eye candy.
And the booth folks hardly ever even go to them, 'cept for the standard halftime, catch-the-coach segments.

It's the easiest damn job in broadcasting.

Yeah, I know the college ones have to go into the stands at the CWS and talk to the parents of so-and-so, but most of it's pretty easy to pull off.
Just stand down there in your designer clothes, tight, black leather, pants and/or gloves and wait to be whistled for.

    Disagree. Not even eye candy.

I dunno... I find Michelle Tafoya objectionable. Am sure there are some fans in the stands at the Metrodome who find her objectionable...

I didn't say they weren't objectionable, just that they were the less objectionable to the rest of the dorks on that crew.

But who will kiss the players' asses during 45-second segments while game action is taking place and going undescribed?

Kolber in particular does very good work. This is a poor decision.

Slap, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I like both women.

Agreed. It's Erin Andrews or bust (no pun intended ... OK, maybe a little).
