I love how Joe Perry's speculation is being reported as absolute fact.

Anything to keep the band in the news after Tyler's injury scuttled the tour, right Joe?

Aerosmith sucks. Bunch of drug burnouts playing music fit for 13-year-old girls . . . . looking a decade older than their contemporaries.

    We should be so fortunate.

Piotr, they had been drug free for more than two decades before Tyler's apparent relapse.

I do look forward to Aerosmith finding a new Filipino lead singer on YouTube and hitting the top five with their three-disc WalMart exclusive...one disc of new songs, one disc of greatest hits (because, you know, Aerosmith hasn't released enough greatest hits) and one disc of live songs (because, you know, Aerosmith hasn't released enough live albums).

Actually, Perry's halfway there. He found the singer for his new solo disc on YouTube.

Hmm. Maybe JOE Perry should hire STEVE Perry to sing for the new Aerosmith. That would be ironic.

Maybe Tyler will be the next lead singer of Velvet Revolver.

Only if Scott Weiland fills Aerosmith's quota of white dudes strung out on crack.

That dude actually looks (and probably sounds) better than Steven Tyler.

Steven Tyler still gets credit for one of the funniest rock-and-roll interview lines ever.

Back when Guns 'n Roses was just hitting it big someone asked Tyler what he thought about GnR's post-concert activities.

"They're drinking way too much. They're going to wind up just like we did."
