Don't you worry about the codas; they both have new catnip balls. They be stoned to the gills.

Stan can't have scraps. It makes him hurl. He and his girlfriend are getting catnip mice.

    I'll admit it ... I splurged.

I went with the Extreme Cheese Easy Mac today. :D

Just burgers and dogs here. And a beer or six.

My Memorial Day will be Labor Day for me.

Wife went to a cookout without me - long story - but just called to say the hostess "fixed me a plate." No clue what will be on it and how much will be edible.
I've frittered the day away looking for golf gear online and reading and dicking around on here and playing with the dogs and watching the Nats win AGAIN. Never did get around to buying a grill. Shit, for just the two of us my George F. ought to be plenty good enough.

Moddy, if you don't feel like splurging on a big gas grill, you can't go wrong with a straight Weber kettle for two people.

I switched two years ago and I won't go back unless I'm ever in the situation where I'm going to be having a lot of cookouts at my place.

    Charcoal?
Hate fucking with charcoal even if the flavor is slightly - only slightly - better. I mess with it 2-3 times a year for my smoker and it's a hassle.
I can bring the Georgie outside. That makes it a cookout, right?

What do you do with your old gas grill when you get a new one?

I'm working until 6 p.m., so it will be cold leftovers for me...

Left it with my folks. I think they're up to three, now.

I suppose the Foreman outside technically makes it a cookout.

Or, for steaks, I often use a cast iron skillet.

Heat that bad boy up, cook on one side, flip and toss the skillet into a 250-300 degree oven.

    Works like a charm.

I use the hickory chips on my gas grill. It improves the flavor greatly, and no charcoal.
