Hamilton's been caught doping before so he better have a whopper of a tale to tell from his times at US Postal. (in order to convince any jury)

Somewhat Tour related ... Guy goes to a yard sale and spots a mountain bike. Owner sells it for $5. Bike turned out to be a custom job ridden by Floyd Landis in a Leadville 100.

Well ... only if you refuse to believe that he has a dead twin's genetic matter swimming through his bloodstream.

I think it's funny that some dickhead thought the pedals were broken just because they weren't what was on his Huffy as a kid.

Levi crushed Leadville today. He shattered Armstrong's record.

SINGAPORE (AP) — Cycling’s top official has questioned whether the latest investigation into cheating at the highest level of the sport is being driven by new information or old vendettas.

UCI is complict; the investigators should treat them as suspects, not as sources.

    And heeeeeere we go.

"Tour de France champion Alberto Contador has scheduled a news conference for Thursday to address reports of an apparent positive test for the bronchodilator clenbuterol.

Contador, a three-time winner of the French national tour, apparently tested positive for the drug in tests conducted on July 21, the second of two rest days in this year’s race and was notified of the result on August 24."

He claims it came from contaminated food. Paging Mr. Landis, Mr. Floyd Landis....

    From the wire:

“It is a clear case of food contamination,” Contador said

Meat was brought across the border from Spain to France during a rest day during the Tour. He said there were complaints about the food at the hotel where the team was staying.

Contador called the UCI’s suspension of him “a true mistake.”
