I bet Wisconsin (5) and KSU (4) are thrilled about getting sent to San Jose to play Oregon (12) and UC Irvine (13) in what amounts to virtual home games for the lower seeds. Half of UO's enrollment is from California.

No team should ever get an at-large berth with 15 losses. Never. And to think that two more with 15 were among the last four out is ridiculous. Indiana went 1-13 from Jan. 6 until Feb. 22 and its still on the bubble? I don't care who you beat, you go 1-13 and you're automatically out of any at-large conversation..

Actually, Michigan is a higher overall seed. Michigan State is essentially No. 8 overall (would play No. 1 in the regional final/quarterfinals) and Michigan is the No. 5 overall (would play NO. 4 in the regional final/quarterfinals). Should have swapped those two.

Also, what's up with a potential conference matchup in the second round between Michigan State and Minnesota.

And very sneaky of the committee to have Louisville vs. Ricardo Pitino-coached Minnesota in the first round.

ESPN has MSU at No. 6 and UM at No. 8
Win over UM moved MSU ahead of Kentucky at No. 7
Makes even less sense, having 1 vs 6 and 4 vs 8

Explain why on earth UNC deserves a 1 but UVA doesn’t. I’m excited for this. “They’ll flame out early,” while not incorrect, is not a valid argument.

Explain why the ACC gets three No 1s and the Big Ten regular season and tournament champion gets put in Duke’s regional

That makes zero sense. Michigan State should be the clear first No. 2 team (No. 5 overall), not Michigan.

Not ever gonna feel sorry for an ACC team but it sounds as if it did everything the NCAA says it had to do to make the field, and still didn't get in, even with a better overall record in a tougher league than Florida..

The NCAA needs to add the caveat of a winning conference record for an at-large selection.

Take it up with the representatives from the West Coast Conference. That’s where your beef is.

Gonzaga losing in the WCC semis should have knocked them off the 1-line.

It was the final, but they had a bye into the semis.

Same reason all of those Pitt teams from 15 years ago got saddled with 3 and 4 seeds while UCONN got 1 and 2. Those Bennett sludge ball teams don’t have the talent top to bottom that Duke, Michigan State and UNC do. You know it, I know it and UMBC proved it.
