Maybe they figured if it works for USC, it can work for USM.
Ugly as they may be, the contrast with Troy's all-maroon unis is going to make for some pretty pictures.

 

We saw how well that worked out for Mark Richt. And the sad thing about it is, those black uniforms really look cool. Unlike the Fighting Bananas.

 

The way he's scrambling around tonight, this Troy quarterback is going to end up running the equivalent of a full marathon by the end of the game.

 

What company makes USM's uniforms? Could be a money deal.

Was toggling back and forth between Southern Miss vs. Troy and NFC football games.
Great family fun as wife and small child watched with me.
We had a blast. Great football on both ends.
I covered the USM receiver who caught the final TD pass on the flag route.
He was a star in high school who initially signed with Vandy. Jonathan Massey.

Excellent games.

Entertaining NOB, great finish, but the football left a little to be desired. I like Fedora — he'll do good things in Hattiesburg. It was a good win for USM — Troy is loaded with athletes.
