    If there's a trip to Abdullah the Butcher's House of Ribs, I have to be involved. I've wanted to go to that place for as long as I can remember.
    IJAG, hope you have plenty of locks on the door, a good car alarm and all of the proper accoutrments that come from living there.

    GODDAMMIT MY CAR IS A FUCKING TANK. That thing has a non-fitting headlight, yellow paint down the side, a crunched up hood and a broken windshield. Still running like a champ!

    The yellow paint down the side of IJAG's car was one of my "OMG, I can't believe that just happened" moments during the Cleveland outing.

    The entire drive to the Hall of Fame, I kept thinking, "How is she not freaking out about her car right now?!!" :)

    Iam really hard on cars. And I've never really worried about them. Much like the environment, I figure they're here for us to use and then throw away. I've never had a car with value when I got the next one, so I figure it's all just there to be trashed.

    I missed this thread until now. Sadness.

    I'll look at the vacation calendar tomorrow, although this may be a no-go for me (I may be in the middle of moving at the end of July).

    Even better! Come down here on your way to your new home! :D :D :D

    If one of the August dates works for you, wick, let me know. I was leaning toward the Phillies weekend for selfish reasons, but I had no ill feelings for Astros or Dodgers dates either. Neither does anyone else, from what I can tell.
