don't know if this new show is any good. but it has laura prepon and tonight's ep opened with jackson browne singing "the pretender." so it scored points with me. 8)

 

It's not good.

In fact, it's pretty fucking atrocious.

I've never set up a "record all eps" on my DVR and canceled it after the first episode before. But oh my god, the writing is HORRendous.

 

45 minutes in, i can't disagree.

despite ms. prepon and mr. browne.

 

Yeah, it looks pretty awful. But Ms. Prepon doesn't.

 

A remake/rehash/sequel to "Beautiful Girls," a movie I thought was pretty good.

Written by the same guy. Apparently not as well.

 

What the hell was Rosie O'Donnell doing in that movie?

And yeah, this show sucks. Almost as bad as the Black Donnellys.

 

the show looks decent in the previews. but i've never had the courage to give it a shot. maybe i'll tivo it next week.

 

"the black donnellys" is waaaay better. 8)
