He's fucking up the "Bengles" quite nicely.

I don't thik he thought this through. If he's ever traded or signed with another team and 85 is taken, he's screwed. Whould he change his name again to his new number?

He should've changed it to the proper "ochenta y cinco," which is why I always thought Chad Johnson is a dumbass.

"Ochenta y cinco" is 85. "Ocho Cinco" reads literally as Eight. Five.

  4. Shit. What am I going to do about this Chad Johnson tattoo I got?

If Johnson or Ocho Cinco or whatever his name is had any balls, he would have changed his first name to "Numero".

I guess it'll be Mr. Ocho Cinco in the Times. Or will it just be Mr. Cinco?

If I'm wearing 85 on the team he gets traded to, I'm asking for millions to trade it.

If I'm the Bengals, I change his freaking number tomorrow.

Lawrence Berra thinks it's bad to make blanket statements.
He thinks a lot of things, many of which make little sense.

Just was about to post that myself. I guess this just goes to show how dumbed-down America is... and what to expect in the coming years. :/

    So does Dorrel Herzog.

How many of us are actually going to write gamers with Chad Ocho Cinco?

If that's his legal name, you have to use it, absolutely. If his name were Chad! OCHO@ CinCo!, you wouldn't have to do all the cap and punctuation B.S. As someone said at a seminar once, you have to render someone's name correctly, but not their signature.

So...those of you saying you wouldn't use Ocho Cinco in a news story...I assume you'll make sure your paper uses Chris Bridges and Marshall Mathers.
