OC Register needs HS football freelancers

    If you're in or near Orange County and are available to cover high school football, the Orange County Register and ocvarsity.com could use your help. We will cover up to 42 games on Friday nights, and we lost some key freelancers to full-time opportunities.

    The Register pays $50 for game coverage, which includes a story and statistics on deadline. It's not a huge amount, but when you cover as many games as we do, it's what we can pay.
