    That's a good picture to see. Whether he misses a game or two or even the rest of the season, conscious and smiling is a very good sign.

    Driver of other car told police that he was crossing Church Street when a truck “came flying down” Church and struck him.

    His body language makes it seem like he doesn't appreciate the seriousness of the situation. He'll never be great.

    Hard to tell but it looks like Newton was driving a brand new Ram with a lift kit.

    Seems like someone blew a stop sign from the pictures. Other drive had front end damage with tells me that he T- boned Newton. Someone was not paying attention.

    Surely cell phones will be checked

    My first thought was driving while texting.
    Newton's truck is older. Looks like a Dodge from the first generation after they went to the mini big-rig styling, so probably mid-to-late 1990s.
