Can someone recommend a machine that will convert Beta tapes to DVD?

Maybe I'm missing something, but couldn't you go from Beta to VHS then to DVD?

Ten years ago I was a skinny smartass kid who didn't give two shits about much of anything. And now? Well, let's just say not much has changed.

If you can tell me how to do that, well, you're gonna be a rich man.

Where the hell am I going to find a Beta recorder?

What kind of watch do you have? A calculator watch? A digital watch?
Good watches have had pretty much the same working parts for 350 years.

BETA, when it came down to it, was a better product.
    Cheaper to ship.
Could stack more on store shelves.
Could store more in private collections.
The only thing BETA didn't have going for it, was Sony's backing. Sony was marketing their VHS platform and player. The power of branding and marketing.

I would think you could go straight from Beta to DVD. But then, I havent' had a Beta machine in a while.

That 4th-and-25 play put the Packers into the playoffs where they made their own 4th-and-26 history that year. Someone should dredge up that video, too, to occasionally throw in the faces of Packer fanbois. I see it has its own Wikipedia entry.
