I hate the Pats with a passion, but my fond memories of that winning bet hold a special place in my heart.

    Ruth? Rodriguez?

EDIT: Ok I got Rodriguez, but Christ was I off with Ruth.

For the last 2, I'll say Sosa and Thomas

    Sosa is correct. Thomas, no.
I would have never guessed #6 in a million years. He’s a complete afterthought to me.

I've had similar experiences with Alabama. If they're going to win anyway, you might as well put them to work for you.

Answer time, 5 of 6 were nailed.

    1. Reggie Jackson, 2,597
    2. Jim Thome, 2,548
    3. Adam Dunn, 2,379
    4. Sammy Sosa, 2,306
    5. Alex Rodriguez, 2,287
    6. Andres Galarraga, 2,003

An interesting factoid I discovered; of the top 20 career home-run hitters (there are 22, three are tied for 20th), nine had more career walks than strikeouts (Bonds, Aaron, Ruth, Pujols, Palmiero, Foxx, Mantle, Thomas, T. Williams). I would have never guessed that.

I'm telling you. We could have even named every team The Big Cat played for as hints, and I still wouldn't have got him.

    The year is 1987.
Don Mattingly sets a MLB record with 6 grand slams in that season.
How many grand slams did Mattingly end his career with?

That graphic didn't show up on my browser. Does it say that I'm right?
