    It's hard for a completely accurate count because for many years a sac fly wasn't counted as an RBI.

    Yep, not much of a challenge. The Green Wave swept the Tigers that year, home and away. More trivia: The Tulane gym (now Devlin Fieldhouse) was built with Tulane's proceeds from the 1931 Rose Bowl.

    Wow, Indiana was so great in 1987 that they made the Final Four twice!

    Drew a blank on 1966 and 1969.

    Nice! 1966 was Utah. 1969 was Drake, and the great Willie McCarter.

    1997 was Minnesota, not Stanford. The Cardinal were 1998.

    For about 100 years, Tip O’Neill was given credit for batting .490 in 1887. Consider the record. However, apparently his walks had been tabulated in there and in reality he hit .435z
