Louis Armstrong, Wonderful World? And yeah, Herb Alpert

Alpert has to be one of the most interesting dudes. He's Jewish, played in the USC marching band, co-wrote Sam Cooke's Wonderful World, owner of A&M Records, played a drummer in The Ten Commandments and had no. 1 hits with the vocal (This Guy's In Love With You) and instrumental (Rise).

That was a completely random guess on my part.

Added tidbit - "Rise" was sampled on a no. 1 rap track.

Name the only band where every member also made it into the Rock Hall of Fame with another band.

    Just an immediate guess, CSN&Y?

This Guy's In Love With You is the single that edged The Horse by Cliff Nobles & Co. Poor Cliff sang, so when the instrumental took off, he was nowhere to be heard from, literally.

Correct. Though CSN and Y isn't in the HoF - only CSN. Neil is in solo.

Kenny Rogers is the 8th singer on USA for Africa's We are the World single to die. Can you name the other seven (includes chorus members).
